Affordable Therapy Support in Montréal, Québec & Ontario

Amina ElDali is completing her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and is currently undertaking her final clinical internship at Clinic Altera. She offers a warm, compassionate, and thoughtful presence, creating a supportive space where clients can feel safe, understood, and encouraged to grow.

Amina has a growing clinical interest in supporting young adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, identity development, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. She is also developing specialized experience in areas such as complex trauma, interpersonal violence, and relational healing.

She is well versed in somatic techniques and nervous-system-informed approaches that help clients better understand and regulate stress responses. Amina also offers support with the Safe and Sound Protocol, helping clients build greater regulation, resilience, and felt safety. In addition, she provides executive function coaching for clients navigating ADHD-related challenges, motivation struggles, organization difficulties, and overwhelm.

Amina brings a diverse personal and professional background to her clinical work, allowing her to meet clients with openness, curiosity, and sensitivity to the many factors that shape a person’s story. Her approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each client’s pace and unique lived experience.

As a clinical intern, Amina receives close supervision and ongoing training from Amanda Hankins, Founder and Clinical Director of Clinic Altera. This means clients benefit not only from Amina’s dedicated care, but also from the added support, guidance, and clinical oversight of an experienced senior therapist.

Working with a clinical intern can be an excellent choice for clients seeking high-quality therapy at a more affordable fee. Intern therapists often bring fresh knowledge, deep attentiveness, and strong commitment to growth, while working within a carefully supervised clinical environment.

Amina’s fee starts at $100 per session, with additional sliding scale options available as needed and confirmed collaboratively based on circumstances and availability.

Amina offers accessible, relational, and thoughtful therapy support in Montréal and virtually across Québec and Ontario.
