Our Space

At Clinique Altera, we believe the environment where healing happens matters. Our clinical spaces are intentionally designed with warmth, grounding colours, natural textures, and calming details that help support nervous system regulation and invite a sense of calm, safety, and peace.

As of June 1, 2026, we relocated just up the street from our old location, approximately a one-minute walk away, into a newly designed suite created to better support our clients, clinicians, and community.

Our suite will include five , each named in Latin, like our namesake Altera, to reflect healing, connection, growth, and transformation:

Unda - The Wave
A place where experience can move, soften, and shift.

Explora - A place to discover and explore
A large space for family therapy, plat therapy, creative arts therapy, group therapy, and gentle movement.

Intus - Within

aA place to turn inward and reflect.

Lumen - Light
A place where things can gently come into view.

Sensus - Sensory
A place to listen to what is felt, not just said.

Beauty and hope are also woven throughout the clinic environment. Our walls will feature art by Canadian queer, women, BIPOC, and Indigenous artists whose creativity and perspectives help create a space rooted in inclusion, meaning, and possibility.

Each office is equipped with grounding supports such as dark chocolate, fidget tools, weighted blankets, supportive pillows, cold water, warm tea, as well as space to move and regulate. These details reflect our belief that care can be practical, embodied, and deeply human.
