Fatima Azzahra Bahi is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work. Passionate about mental health, Fatima Azzahra provides services through a trauma-informed, intersectional, systemic, culturally safe, and anti-oppressive approach.
Throughout her clinical experience, Fatima Azzahra has had the privilege of supporting individuals who have experienced interpersonal, sexual, and relational violence, as well as those navigating complex trauma, dissociation, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, PTSD-related symptoms, and relational challenges. In her practice, Fatima Azzahra pays close attention to the ways intergenerational trauma, power dynamics, identity, culture, and experiences of oppression can impact a person's well-being and mental health.
Fatima Azzahra's approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. She places great importance on creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where each person can be welcomed in their complexity and supported at their own pace. Her goal is to support self-understanding, emotional regulation, and the development of tools that are adapted to each person's needs, values, and lived experiences.
Helping relationships are at the heart of Fatima Azzahra's practice. She believes that taking the first step toward caring for your mental health can be a courageous but difficult act. Fatima Azzahra would be honoured to accompany you through this process and support you in your journey toward self-understanding, well-being, and healing.
Fatima Azzahra offers services in English, French, and Arabic to adolescents and adults in Montréal, virtually throughout Québec, and virtually throughout Ontario.
