Clinical Associate, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Olesia is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She provides virtual individual therapy to adults across Ontario and Quebec in English, Ukrainian, and Russian under the clinical supervision of Amanda Hankins.
She works with adults navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, stress and burnout, perfectionism, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and feeling stuck. Olesia also brings a deep understanding of the emotional impact of displacement, migration, and cultural adjustment, and is passionate about supporting individuals from immigrant and refugee communities.
Her approach is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Olesia takes a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy. She believes that many emotional struggles are understandable responses to overwhelming experiences and unmet emotional needs. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space where clients can deepen their understanding of themselves and the patterns that keep them stuck, process difficult emotions, and develop practical tools for meaningful and lasting change.
Through the therapeutic relationship, Olesia supports clients in healing from past experiences, strengthening their sense of self, cultivating emotional resilience, and building more authentic and fulfilling connections with others.
