Calming the Nervous System, Sparking Connection

At Clinic Altera, we believe that meaningful change begins with a felt sense of safety, both in the body and within the nervous system. The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a gentle, scientifically grounded listening therapy that supports integration, growth, transformation, and connection.

What Makes SSP Special

  • Music That Speaks Safety
SSP uses five hours of filtered music emphasizing human voice frequencies, subtle cues that help the nervous system shift toward calm, presence, and engagement.

  • Benefits You Can Feel
Clients often experience improved emotional regulation, reduced stress, clearer focus, and greater relational capacity, all through a nonverbal, body-based pathway.

  • Anchored in Trustworthy Science
Created by Dr. Stephen Porges and grounded in Polyvagal Theory, SSP is supported by research and trusted worldwide by clinicians.

How Integration and Growth Unfold at Clinic Altera
